Yuan Wei Dessert - Taiwanese dessert

Just happened to saw this store at the food centre. I tried their desserts and they tasted quite good, hence doing a short blog.

This store sell Taiwanese desserts, you are able to choose the flavors and they have a wide variety to choose from. In addition, they sell super cheap home made soy bean drink and pudding at only $1 each.

In the clockwise direction from the top dish, it is red bean pudding with grass jelly. There are glutinous dumplings as topping. The red bean pudding is not very sweet, hence, eating with the grass jelly or pudding make the combination less sugary.

Next to the right, the dessert is Milk shaved ice with puddings. Condensed milk is added to the shaved ice, if you like sweet stuff, this is the dish to try as it is really very good.

Bottom dessert is Oranges pudding with pearls. If you drink milk bubble tea before, the pearls are exactly the same. The orange pudding taste abit sour but refreshing. Eat with the pearls balance out the sourness.

Verdict: 3 / 5
