Ding Tai Fung @ JB City Square

Din Tai Fung opened one of their outlets at Johor Bahru City Square mall. Most of us should be familiar on the food that they serve. However, the concept is similar to those outlets in Taiwan, hence expect some differences.

Look at the queue, this is around 11am and the queue is already snaking around. However, the queue moves quite fast so do not hesitate to take a queue number.

Hot & Spicy Soup (RM 11 Small) -  Add a teaspoon of white vinegar to enhance its taste.

Shrimp Soup (Small, RM 13.21) - Consist of 6 pieces of shrimps wontons. Taste fresh and crunchy.

Xiao Long Bao ( RM 12.45) - 6 pieces of the famous Xiao Long Bao. Juicy and filled with pork fillings. Definitely a must to order!!

Pork Chop and Shrimp Fried Rice (RM 33) - For those who could not decide between shrimp or pork chop, would definitely like this version of both shrimp and pork chop served together. Instead of the version in Singapore which is deep fried, the pork chop here is pan-fried instead.

Tokyo Secret @ Johor Bahru City Square

Recently opened their outlet at Johor Bahru City Square, Tokyo Secret aim at both Malaysian and Singaporean customers by offering the famous Baked Cheese Tarts.

RM 7.90 for a Cheesetart
RM 8.90 for a Matcha Cheesetart

Can you smell that cheese??

Yeah!!! Finally brought the tarts!

See how creamy both tarts are. Wooooo!! Very buttery taste when you take the first bite. Subsequently , you will be able to taste the cream cheese as you munch.

Matcha version is quite good as well, slightly stronger matcha taste compare to the cheese. It's not to my liking.

Currency conversion is great, you really can't miss it now!!
