Hoshino Coffee specializes in hand-dripped coffee, which is lighter and cleaner in taste as compared to local coffee such as kopi. They are famous for their souffle pancake served with fruits, ice cream, whipped cream and drizzled with maple syrup. The queue is madness during the weekend and evenings, will strongly suggest to try this during non peak hours.
Mouth watering food display at the front of the shop. Make one wanting to try them all.
Well, this service bell serve no purpose other than decoration only. So do not try this at all.
French toast with maple syrup - Toast soak in egg and caramelize sugar, taste like pancake
Fuwa Fuwa - Fluffy eggs with rice at the bottom. Rice is mixed with meats like pork and beef together with mushroom. The egg texture is fluffy, make ones think like they are eating foam. Try it, it taste nice
Arrabiata Spaghetti - Seafood spaghetti, sweet tomato sauce with lots of seafood such as mussles, prawns, squids and clams. Really good. Spaghetti is not over cook too. Just nice.
Hoshino Spaghetti - Consist of ham, tomatoes, hotdog, eggplant in the spaghetti with poached egg. Dry kind but is tasty.
**Double Pancake Souffle Style (20 mins preparation time) - Main star of this shop, really taste fantastic. The cake is so thick, fluffy and soft that it nearly melt in your mouth. The whipped cream really taste great and maple syrup is provided as well. Really generous on the maple syrup. As this pancake take quite awhile to prepare, it will be wise to order together with the main dish, so the timing will be just nice.
WOW!!! Must eat together with the whipped cream!
Matcha Parfait - Generous amount of red bean given with the matcha. The matcha taste is just nice, not too sweet. Jelly, fruit bits and nuts are mixed with the matcha as well so as to elevate the sweetness.
Hoshino hand dripped coffee (Left) / Hoshino Iced Coffee (right) - Taste not bad, both are refeillable at half price.
Verdict: 4 / 5
Spending: Around $25 / pax
